For many years, there has been a need to inform people about the incredible marine life that exists within Port Phillip Bay. As scientists and resource managers attempt to tackle issues of water quality, river health and marine pollution, it is becoming more important that the broader community understand what it is that we need to protect. Network Ten and Visions of Blue have therefore embarked on a project to educate Australians about Port Phillip Bay's marine environment.

Visions of Blue prepared a documentary on Port Phillip's amazing marine life. Its purpose is to educate the community about the marine environment and to dispel the myth that the bay is dead. The documentary explores the underwater world in Port Phillip Bay and takes viewers on a journey of discovery. Amazing underwater footage and camera shots make this possible. Leafy seadragons, seahorses, elephant fish, blue devils and sea spiders are just a few of the unique creatures that are exposed. Viewers are bound to be surprised and intrigued as Sheree explores the quirkiness of life in the bay.
